As long as I can remember I’ve had a pencil or a paintbrush in my hand. Drawing anything and everything I came in contact with. But my main inspiration has always been from nature.
That inspiration took me to the present, where I now create fine art. Consistently, my subject matter has primarily revolved around the other two loves of my life; animals and nature. There have been animals in my life for as long as I can remember. When I am creating art, it feels like I am breathing life into the piece. As though capturing a small fragment of the essence of the subject has allowed it to exist, in our hearts and minds, once more.
Meet Lynx. He was the kindest and most inspiring of cats, and his memory gave me the courage I needed to fully launch my artistic career.
Lynx was an ever present source of love and friendship for the entire 14 years we spent together. After his passing at the age of 18 in 2020, I wanted to honor his life. Every piece of art I create is an offering of gratitude towards the memory of my best friend.
